US Special Envoy to Ukraine Kellogg: Russia attacks undermine Trump peace initiative.
Keith Kellogg, the US special envoy to Ukraine appointed by former President Donald Trump, stated in Kyiv that officials are working "very, very hard" to end the three-year conflict between Russia and Ukraine. He described efforts to reach an agreement on security guarantees for Ukraine as a "work in progress." However, Kellogg also warned that recent Russian attacks, described as "horrific" by the White House, are undermining the peace initiative. These ongoing strikes on Kyiv and other areas threaten to derail the progress toward a diplomatic resolution of the war.
