Delta Air Lines said one of its Boeing 757s struck an empty company aircraft while being pushed back from a gate at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport on Sunday morning. The outbound flight, listed as DL1830 to Guatemala City, was carrying 192 passengers, two pilots and four flight attendants. No injuries were reported, but the contact forced a roughly three-hour delay while travellers were transferred to a replacement jet. The carrier apologised for the disruption and said it is reviewing how the wing came into contact with the parked aircraft. No further operational impact was reported across Delta’s network.
