Cabello also stated that all Venezuelan borders shared with Colombia are heavily guarded, denying the presence of Colombian guerrillas within Venezuelan territory. Additionally, two men were detained in Carabobo for theft of strategic materials from Corpoelec. Security forces in Guárico state arrested two individuals accused of extorting a merchant in Valle de la Pascua. These operations were conducted by various specialized police units, including the Division Against Kidnapping and Extortion and the National Anti-Extortion and Kidnapping Command.
