Sony Interactive Entertainment has opened its annual PlayStation Store Summer Sale, offering deep discounts on hundreds of digital games and add-ons for PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4. The promotion began on 16 July and runs until 13 August, with a mid-sale refresh planned for 29 July that will rotate some titles in and out of the line-up. Headline savings include EA Sports FC 25 Standard Edition at 79 percent off, Alan Wake 2 for US$23.99, Elden Ring at US$36, and Grand Theft Auto V Premium Edition for Rs 1,221. Red Dead Redemption 2 is marked down to Rs 1,149, while dozens of other recent releases—such as Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, Assassin’s Creed Shadows and Forza Horizon 5—are discounted by 25 percent or more. Sony is also cutting prices on hardware in parts of Europe, where PS5 console bundles are reduced by €50/£45 for the Standard Edition and €100/£90 for the Digital Edition through 29 July, subject to availability. Virtual-reality players can pick up top PlayStation VR 2 titles, including Resident Evil Village and Gran Turismo 7, at discounts ranging from 25 percent to 75 percent. Separately, the company’s July update to the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog adds Cyberpunk 2077 and nine other games for Extra and Premium subscribers, coinciding with the service’s 15th anniversary. Sony advises customers to monitor the sale page for changing offers as stocks and regional pricing vary.
