Gilvan, who had already been suspended due to these attacks on Hoffmann's honor, now faces a potential mandate revocation. The process was opened following allegations of breach of parliamentary decorum. Separately, the Legislative Assembly of Rio de Janeiro (Alerj) has promulgated a decree transferring the management of the Sambódromo from the Rio de Janeiro city government to the state government. This move has prompted legal action from a deputy opposing the transfer. Additionally, PL deputies are reportedly facing actions related to disinformation during the Belo Horizonte elections.
