The 2025 National Test for Selection and School and Vocational Orientation (TENASOSP) commenced on July 17 across the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), including examination centers abroad. A total of 1,590,471 candidates are participating, with girls representing 47% of this number, approximately 722,893 female candidates. In the province of Sud-Kivu 1, 71,955 candidates are registered for the test. The launch in Beni, North Kivu, was officially presided over by the mayor, Colonel Jacob Nyofondo Te Kodale. The Minister of National Education has encouraged girls to pursue scientific fields during this examination period. The TENASOSP is scheduled to run until July 18. Separately, in Brazil, the National Teacher Exam (Prova Nacional Docente) is open for registration until July 25, with the test to be administered on October 26. This exam serves as a qualification tool for teacher recruitment by states and municipalities.
