The results of the 2025 French Baccalauréat were published on July 4, with approximately 535,000 final-year high school students awaiting their outcomes. The provisional pass rate was announced at 85.75% before the retake exams, marking a slight increase from the 85.5% pass rate recorded in 2024. Education Minister Élisabeth Borne confirmed this figure during a visit to Essonne, noting that the rate remains roughly consistent with the previous year. Results were made available academy by academy, including major regions such as Paris, Créteil, Versailles, Aix-Marseille, Toulouse, and others. Following the initial results, the overall success rate for the June 2025 session rose to 91.8% after retakes, an increase of 0.4 percentage points compared to June 2024. Additionally, nearly 90% of students received at least one positive response to their higher education applications via Parcoursup at the end of the main phase. The Brevet des collèges (middle school diploma) results were also released progressively from July 7 to July 10 across various academies, including Paris, Lyon, Nantes, and Aix-Marseille.
