The Greek Ministry of Education announced the results of the 2025 Panhellenic university entrance examinations on June 26, 2025. A total of 88,637 candidates competed for 68,788 university places. The results, which include grades for general (GEL) and vocational (EPAL) high schools, were released with candidates identified only by their codes and scores per subject. The data revealed low percentages of top scorers and a high proportion of students scoring below the passing mark of 10 in key subjects such as Mathematics, Physics, History, and Ancient Greek, with approximately 50% of candidates failing to reach the base level in these areas. Following the announcement, candidates began submitting their university preference forms (Mihanoγραφικό Δελτίο) from July 7. Meanwhile, in France, the 2025 Baccalauréat results were published on July 4, with Education Minister Élisabeth Borne reporting a provisional pass rate of 85.75% before retake exams, slightly up from 85.5% in 2024. The results were made available by academic region, including Paris, Créteil, and Versailles. Additionally, the French Brevet des collèges 2025 results were released gradually between July 7 and 10, with reports indicating less than half of third-year middle school students demonstrated satisfactory proficiency in mathematics and French. The Panhellenic university admission base scores are expected to be announced on July 25, 2025.
