Federal authorities have arrested multiple Antifa militants involved in a series of violent actions targeting Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) facilities in Portland, Oregon, and Alvarado, Texas. In Portland, Antifa militants repeatedly attempted to attack the local ICE facility, including an arson attack on July 4 that prompted a federal response. The ICE building has been boarded up and fenced off due to ongoing threats. Federal charges have been filed against at least 17 Portland Antifa suspects for offenses including assault on federal officers and creating hazards on federal property. Among those arrested is Tracy Molina, a known participant in previous riots. Additionally, Antifa militants established a base inside a local apartment building after police cleared an illegal camp outside the ICE facility. Authorities also investigated reports of weapons and explosives allegedly stashed near a school. In Texas, ten Antifa members were arrested and charged with attempted murder following a coordinated ambush on ICE agents in Alvarado, involving rifles and fireworks to lure officers out. One ICE officer was shot in the neck during the attack. These incidents have raised concerns about escalating violence against federal agents and ICE personnel, with federal law enforcement continuing efforts to disrupt and prosecute those involved.
