The French football club AC Ajaccio has been relegated from Ligue 2 to the Championnat National by the DNCG, the financial regulatory body overseeing professional football clubs in France. This decision was confirmed on appeal by the DNCG federal authority. As a result, Boulogne-sur-Mer is expected to be promoted to Ligue 2 to fill the vacancy. AC Ajaccio has announced plans to appeal the ruling to the CNOSF, the French National Olympic and Sports Committee. The relegation has raised concerns about the future of approximately 80 young players in AC Ajaccio's training center, who now face uncertainty due to the club's demotion.
