Renault Group reported that global vehicle deliveries rose 1.3% year on year to 1.17 million units in the first half of 2025, supported by robust demand for passenger cars. The core Renault marque increased volumes 2.7% to 808,413 vehicles, offsetting a 0.7% decline at budget brand Dacia. Electrified models—battery-electric and hybrids—accounted for almost 44% of total first-half sales, up more than 15 percentage points from a year earlier, reflecting the company’s push to meet stricter emissions rules. The Clio supermini and the new Symbioz compact crossover were singled out as key contributors to the uptick. Second-quarter shipments were largely unchanged from a year earlier as a drop in van demand weighed on results, according to preliminary figures. Renault said its European order book still covers roughly two months of projected sales, giving it some visibility for the remainder of the year.
