Tesla registered 702 new cars in Spain in July, a 27% increase from the same month a year earlier, according to data released by industry group ANFAC. The gain lifted the company’s cumulative sales for the first seven months of 2025 by 1.1% compared with the year-earlier period. Spain’s wider shift to battery and plug-in hybrid models accelerated even faster. Registrations of electrified vehicles across all brands rose 155% in July to 21,002 units and are up 93% so far this year, reaching 123,315 vehicles—already surpassing full-year 2024 totals. ANFAC said the surge underscores strong consumer demand and urged Madrid to extend purchase incentives as existing funding under the Moves III programme nears exhaustion.
