Thousands of pro-Palestinian demonstrators stretched red banners through central Paris on Tuesday, forming what organisers called a “Red Line for Gaza” to denounce Israel’s continuing military campaign in the coastal enclave. Amnesty International France, which coordinated the rally, said the action was intended to symbolise a boundary that should not be crossed regarding civilian harm. Participants waved Palestinian flags and held placards demanding an immediate halt to the bombardment. The Paris protest came amid renewed strikes in Gaza, where local medical personnel told media outlets that at least 100 Palestinians had been killed since dawn on 8 July. Human-rights groups say deliveries of humanitarian aid remain severely restricted. Solidarity events were also staged elsewhere in Europe. At the Sanfermines Festival in Pamplona, Spain, festival-goers arranged themselves into a giant human mural resembling the map of Palestine, underscoring the widening international pressure for a cease-fire.
