Hungary said Russian crude deliveries through the Druzhba pipeline were suspended on Monday after a transformer station serving the line was struck inside Ukraine. Foreign Minister Peter Szijjártó wrote that the damage followed a Ukrainian attack, leaving the NATO and EU member state without its principal source of pipeline oil. Szijjártó added that he spoke with Russian Deputy Energy Minister Pavel Sorokin, who indicated technicians were working to restore the facility but could not give a timetable for resuming flows. The Hungarian government did not detail contingency measures, and Kyiv has not commented on the allegation.
