Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has announced the launch of the Amaravati Quantum Valley initiative, with a Quantum Computing Centre set to begin operations in Amaravati by January 1, 2026. The initiative aims to establish Andhra Pradesh as a global innovation hub and the brain capital of the global quantum ambition. The project is expected to create over 100,000 high-skilled jobs and foster the emergence of more than 50 unicorn companies. During the Amaravati Quantum Valley Workshop, Naidu emphasized the importance of building a complete ecosystem around quantum computing. Minister Nara Lokesh highlighted the project's potential to position Andhra Pradesh prominently in the global quantum technology landscape. Following this, Naidu undertook a two-day visit to Delhi, where he met with key officials including NITI Aayog member Dr. V.K. Saraswat, Delhi Metro Managing Director Dr. Vikas Kumar, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, and Union Railways Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw. Discussions during the visit focused on development strategies and urban infrastructure initiatives for Andhra Pradesh.
