Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav is on a visit to the United Arab Emirates to pitch investment opportunities in the central Indian state. In Dubai on Monday he held separate meetings with LuLu Group International Director Salim MA, Federation of UAE Chambers of Commerce & Industry Secretary General Humaid Mohamed Ben Salem, Sharaf Group Chairman Ibrahim Sharaf, and a Tata Group delegation led by Taj Dubai Area Director Saurabh Tiwari. According to Ben Salem, the discussions covered a range of sectors and the two sides agreed to set up a special task force to identify specific projects in Madhya Pradesh. Yadav also addressed members of the Indian expatriate community and invited businesses to attend the state’s forthcoming investment summit. Earlier in the trip the chief minister visited the BAPS Swaminarayan Temple in Abu Dhabi before travelling to Dubai, where he was received with a ceremonial welcome by community representatives and local industrialists.
