Initial assessments from state authorities and the National Disaster Response Force indicated no reports of injuries or structural damage. Essential services, transport and power supply continued without disruption. Disaster-management teams have issued safety advisories and are monitoring the area, which lies in a zone susceptible to low-to-moderate seismic activity linked to the Himalayan plate boundary.
