Following the announcement, Radhakrishnan received widespread support and congratulations from various political figures across India, including Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Jharkhand Governor Santosh Gangwar, Uttar Pradesh Minister Sanjay Kumar Nishad, and leaders from parties such as Shiv Sena, JD(U), and Congress. He has since engaged in meetings with NDA floor leaders, MPs from southern and northeastern states, and prominent political figures including former Prime Minister HD Devegowda. The NDA continues to consolidate support for his candidacy ahead of the election. Meanwhile, opposition parties, including the INDIA alliance, are deliberating their stance and candidate for the Vice Presidential election.
