Despite these assertions, Trump acknowledged that the Russia-Ukraine war, which he inherited from former President Joe Biden, has been the most difficult to resolve and remains ongoing. He expressed pride in his efforts to stop multiple global conflicts but admitted that ending the Ukraine conflict did not proceed as easily as anticipated. Earlier in the year, Trump had promised to end the war in Ukraine within 24 hours but later described that statement as sarcastic.
