Major General Humaid Mohammed Abdullah Al Rumaithi, Commander of the United Arab Emirates Naval Forces, is on an official visit to India from July 7 to 9, 2025, aimed at strengthening maritime cooperation and bilateral ties between the two countries. During his visit to New Delhi, he laid a wreath at the National War Memorial to honor the sacrifices of Indian armed forces personnel. He was received with a ceremonial Guard of Honour by Admiral Dinesh Kumar Tripathi, Chief of Naval Staff of India. Major General Al Rumaithi also met with General Anil Chauhan, Chief of Defence Staff of India, where discussions focused on enhancing operational interactions, structured training exchanges, and deepening defense cooperation between India and the UAE. Senior Indian military leaders, including Admiral Tripathi, Air Chief Marshal A.P. Singh, and General Upendra Dwivedi, have addressed senior officers on joint operations, reflecting the ongoing efforts to bolster military collaboration.
