The Indonesian Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) conducted a sting operation on the night of August 20, 2025, resulting in the arrest of Deputy Manpower Minister Immanuel Ebenezer, also known as Noel, along with 10 others. The Gerindra Party, to which Ebenezer is affiliated, indicated it would review his membership status and described the matter as a personal issue. KPK continues to investigate the matter, with ongoing examinations and legal proceedings. The Deputy Minister's declared assets as of January 2025 totaled approximately Rp 17.62 billion.
