Israel Police on Tuesday released Palestinian journalist Nasser Laham after holding him for more than a week on suspicion of incitement. Laham, who was arrested in Bethlehem, had been questioned about alleged links to Al Mayadeen, a Lebanese television channel affiliated with Hezbollah and banned in Israel. He has said he ended his association with the outlet in 2023. Haaretz reported that the release was unconditional and came eight days after the arrest, while local Palestinian outlets cited a nine-day detention. No charges have been filed, and Israeli authorities have not announced further legal steps.
