The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has suspended ticket sales for the upcoming 2024 African Nations Championship (CHAN) Group A match between Kenya and Zambia following security breaches during Kenya's recent game against Morocco. The incidents at Kasarani Stadium included fans breaking gates, forcing entry without tickets, and invading the media center, prompting police to deploy teargas to control the crowd. In response to these events, CAF has reduced the stadium's capacity to 27,000 for Kenya's remaining CHAN Group A matches to enhance security measures. While the ticketing company ceased sales, CAF clarified that it has not halted ticket sales entirely. These measures come as concerns rise over fan safety and the possibility of bans on attendance for Kenya's next games.
