South Korean authorities have arrested a temporary teacher and a parent for repeatedly breaking into a high school in Andong to steal exam papers during test periods. The investigation revealed that the teacher and parent colluded in the theft, which involved unauthorized entry facilitated by fingerprint manipulation. The stolen exam papers were used by students, including a high school senior who consistently ranked first in her grade, allegedly benefiting from the leaked materials since her admission. There is also evidence of monetary transactions related to the exam paper theft. A high school student involved in using the stolen exam papers is under investigation. The school staff who overlooked the incidents have also been detained. The teacher reportedly copied test questions directly from reference books, raising further concerns about exam integrity.
