The Israel Defense Forces said they carried out two drone strikes in southern Lebanon on 17 July, killing a pair of Hezbollah operatives in separate incidents less than an hour apart. The first strike, between the towns of Kfour and Toul near Nabatieh, killed Hassan Ahmad Sabra, a naval commander in Hezbollah’s elite Radwan Force. A second strike in the coastal area of Naqoura targeted and killed another Hezbollah member who the military said was attempting to rebuild the group’s militant infrastructure. The IDF described both men as terrorists and said the action was part of ongoing efforts to prevent Hezbollah from re-establishing offensive capabilities along the Israel–Lebanon border.
