Injective has successfully launched its Ethernia Mainnet Upgrade, introducing the first real-time Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) blockchain. The upgrade, supported by Binance, the world’s largest crypto exchange, enables a permissioned platform with real-time transaction speeds tailored for finance. The mainnet upgrade went live on July 31, 2025, and all Injective products resumed operations shortly after the deployment. Developers are now able to migrate to the mainnet in preparation for a full public release later this year. In July 2025, Injective also achieved milestones including the launch of its EVM testnet and the filing of the first US staked $INJ ETF with the SEC by Canary Capital. The Injective ecosystem continues to expand with new projects and partnerships, while the broader crypto market saw growth with TVS exceeding $300 million and new chain integrations involving Polkadot DeFi and other blockchain networks.
