Authorities in Querétaro have arrested José Luis “N,” also known as “El Chispa” or “El Snoopy,” who is the alleged perpetrator of a mass shooting that resulted in the deaths of 10 people at the Los Cantaritos bar in November 2024. The Fiscalía General del Estado (FGE) reported that José Luis “N” will also face charges of attempted homicide. The arrest took place in the Santa Mónica neighborhood of Querétaro during a coordinated interagency operation. The massacre has been linked to members of the Santa Rosa de Lima Cartel. Officials consider the capture a key development in the investigation of the case. Separately, another individual, Gilberto ‘N,’ alias ‘El Motor,’ was apprehended in a rural area with suspected drugs, which he allegedly sold while on duty in his police patrol vehicle.
