Separately, President Sheinbaum denied that the Mexican government has any information regarding alleged espionage by the Jalisco New Generation Cartel (CJNG) against DEA agents in the United States during the 2024 trial of Rubén Oseguera González, known as 'El Menchito.' Additionally, Sheinbaum confirmed that there is no investigation into Senator Adán Augusto López related to his former secretary of security in Tabasco, Hernán Bermúdez Requena, who is wanted by Interpol for alleged ties to the criminal group 'La Barredora.' The president urged the Security Cabinet to provide transparent explanations regarding the arrest warrant against Bermúdez Requena.
