Ulises Pinto Madera, also known as "El Mamado" or "El Pinto," a former member of the now-defunct Federal Police and considered one of the leaders of the criminal organization "La Barredora," was arrested at Guadalajara airport. Pinto is linked to violence in Jalisco and Tabasco and served as a police commander in Tabasco during the administration of Adán Augusto. Authorities from the Mexican Navy (Semar), Tabasco, and Jalisco were involved in the capture. Pinto remains in custody under the FEMDO (Federal Ministerial Prison) pending a federal judge's decision on his legal status, expected by Monday. In connection with the murder of the "Rey de Meiggs," Francisco Kaminski has been summoned and declared before the prosecution as part of the investigation. Wilson Verdugo, identified as the alleged intellectual author of the homicide, has been placed under preventive detention. Verdugo reportedly offered 30 million pesos to the hitmen involved in the crime. The owner of "La Vaquita Sabrosa," also implicated as the mastermind behind the murder, has been detained and remains in custody. Reports indicate that this individual attempted to cover his tracks by attending the victim's funeral and settling debts. Investigations revealed an "human error" that led to the release of one of the hitmen involved in the case. The case continues to unfold with key video evidence presented by the prosecution during Verdugo's formalization hearing.
