HAMAS HAS REJECTED ACCUSATIONS BY THE U.S. STATE DEPARTMENT CLAIMING ITS INVOLVEMENT IN SATURDAY'S ATTACK ON AMERICANS AT A GAZA HUMANITARIAN FOUNDATION SITE, ACCORDING TO A STATEMENT FROM ITS MEDIA OFFICE.
Hamas and the Gaza Government Media Office issued separate statements on Sunday rejecting U.S. State Department allegations that the group was behind Saturday’s attack on American personnel at a site operated by the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation. The Gaza authorities said GHF is not a relief agency but an intelligence front supported by Washington and Israel, and they condemned what they described as a U.S.–Israeli plan to forcibly relocate Palestinians. They also singled out Boston Consulting Group for alleged involvement in the scheme. Neither Hamas nor the U.S. government has disclosed casualty figures from the incident. Washington has not responded publicly to the latest denials.
