The Israel Defense Forces said on 11 July it is deploying two additional battalions to the West Bank’s Central Command sector after a fresh operational assessment. The reinforcement follows a deadly terror attack a day earlier at Gush Etzion Junction. The military added that it constantly reviews troop allocations amid the ongoing war and will continue both defensive and offensive operations aimed at safeguarding Israeli civilians.
