Israeli security forces are investigating a suspected terror attack at the Gush Etzion Junction in the southern West Bank after gunfire and a stabbing were reported late Thursday afternoon. According to preliminary statements from the Israel Defense Forces and police, two Palestinian assailants opened fire and stabbed shoppers at a commercial complex near the junction before being shot and killed by soldiers on the scene. Magen David Adom said at least one Israeli man was taken to hospital in critical condition. The IDF has sealed off the area and launched searches to rule out additional attackers while forensic teams collect evidence.
