Israeli occupation forces have continued a campaign of detonating explosive-laden robots and conducting airstrikes in multiple neighborhoods across Gaza City and northern Gaza since August 24, 2025. The areas affected include Jabalia al-Balad, Jabalia Al-Nazla, Al-Zarqa, Al-Tuffah, Al-Shujaiya, Al-Zaytoun, Al-Sabra, Sheikh Radwan, Abu Iskandar, and Zawayda. These operations have resulted in widespread destruction of residential buildings and infrastructure. On August 27, a Palestinian was killed and another injured by shrapnel from an explosive robot detonated near the Abu Iskandar area while Israeli forces were blowing up homes near the Sheikh Radwan Pool. Israeli warplanes have also bombarded locations and buildings in Sheikh Radwan and central Gaza. Residents report constant explosions louder than airstrikes, with skies glowing orange and widespread trauma due to the ongoing bombardment. Israeli drones have dropped fire-starting bombs on residential buildings, notably in Abu Eskandar and near Al-Jalaa Roundabout. Israeli soldiers have documented and shared images and videos of home demolitions, artillery shelling, and displacement of Palestinian families, revealing the extent of destruction and civilian suffering. Explosive robot detonations and airstrikes have been reported continuously through August 28, targeting northern Gaza and eastern neighborhoods of Gaza City.
