Israeli military operations in Gaza have intensified over several days, involving artillery shelling, airstrikes, and ground incursions targeting multiple neighborhoods and refugee camps. Since August 14, 2025, Israeli forces have shelled areas including Al-Sabra, Al-Zaytoun, Jabalia, Al-Bureij, and Al-Tuffah neighborhoods in Gaza City, as well as Khan Yunis and Nuseirat refugee camp. Israeli forces have also detonated booby-trapped robots east of Al-Sabra and advanced into Gaza City’s Sabra neighborhood with tanks and military vehicles under artillery cover. An elderly man died after being injured by falling aid supplies in Khan Yunis, highlighting risks associated with air-dropped aid. The ongoing bombardments have caused multiple deaths and injuries among Palestinians, including civilians seeking aid and displaced families trapped in shelters amid heavy shelling and airstrikes.
