Oman's Foreign Minister has emphasized the necessity of resuming negotiations between the United States and Iran, highlighting the importance of this dialogue in enhancing regional security. Meanwhile, Saudi Arabia's Foreign Minister described the relationship between Saudi Arabia and Russia as distinguished, noting progress at all levels and underscoring the importance of diplomatic resolution of political disputes. He also stressed the need for full cooperation between Iran and the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) regarding Iran's nuclear program and praised Russia's role in promoting stability in the Middle East. In another development, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov visited North Korea from July 11 to 13, meeting with leader Kim Jong-un in Wonsan. The two countries pledged cooperation to safeguard each other's territorial integrity, with Russia strongly opposing any attempts to undermine North Korea's national security and sovereignty. Lavrov conveyed Moscow's desire to strengthen the strategic partnership with Pyongyang. North Korean media reported that Russia acknowledged Pyongyang's support during the war in Ukraine. Additionally, South Korea stated that North Korea has supplied Russia with 12 million artillery shells. Lavrov also defended North Korea's nuclear and missile development as a legitimate effort, reflecting Moscow's supportive stance toward Pyongyang's military advancements.
