Protests have erupted internationally in response to the killing of journalists in Gaza and the ongoing humanitarian crisis in the region. In Stockholm, Sweden, demonstrators condemned the Israeli killing of journalists and called for an end to the Swedish government's ties with Israel. In Tel Aviv, hundreds of Israeli Air Force veterans protested demanding a hostage deal and an end to the war. Activists confronted leaders of the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF), including CEO John Acree and spokesperson Chapin Fay, accusing them of complicity in the starvation of Gaza. In the United States, pro-Palestinian activists damaged the property and vehicle of John Acree, holding the GHF responsible for the systematic killing of Palestinians through starvation. Similar protests took place in Spain, where people gathered in Malaga to denounce the assassination of Al Jazeera journalists Anas Al-Sharif and Mohammed Quraqa, among others. In Mexico City, a vigil was held at the Ángel de la Independencia to honor the six journalists killed in Gaza. These coordinated demonstrations highlight growing international condemnation of the violence in Gaza and calls for humanitarian relief.
