Separately, the Kremlin has called on the United States and other parties to pressure Ukraine into agreeing to a new round of direct negotiations with Moscow, aiming to resume peace talks. Russian Presidential Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov emphasized the need for such pressure on Kyiv to facilitate these discussions, with the Kremlin suggesting the talks could take place in Istanbul, Turkey. Additionally, concerns about Russian interference in elections have been raised, noting that Russia has trained individuals in Serbia and Bosnia to disrupt elections, with Moldova potentially being the next target in Europe.
