British Vogue has named rapper and singer Doechii as the cover star of its August 2025 issue, the magazine announced 10 July. Photographed by Elizaveta Porodina, the feature profiles the 26-year-old Florida native—who describes herself as the “Swamp Princess”—and traces her quick rise from online vlogs to global stages. Doechii’s breakout year has included headlining Glastonbury, a widely praised Grammys performance and a high-profile Met Gala debut in Louis Vuitton. Her 2024 mixtape, "Alligator Bites Never Heal," topped charts and earned the Grammy for Best Rap Album, making her one of only three women to win the category. In the accompanying interview, the Top Dawg Entertainment artist says she is “sonically sketching” ideas for a new project she plans to develop later this month. “I was born for this,” she tells the magazine, adding that she wants to push hip-hop forward while preserving its roots.
