Kelly Clarkson has postponed her Las Vegas residency at Caesars Palace due to the illness of her ex-husband, Brandon Blackstock. Blackstock, a talent manager and Clarkson's former husband, had been privately battling cancer for more than three years. The health issues prompted Clarkson to cancel her August shows in order to focus on her family and be fully present for their two children. Blackstock, who was married to Clarkson from 2013 to 2022 and also served as her manager from 2017 until their split in 2020, died at the age of 48 following his prolonged cancer battle. His death was confirmed by his family on August 7, 2025. Clarkson had kept the situation private for months before publicly announcing the postponement of her residency. The couple's daughter, Savannah Blackstock Lee, recently announced her second pregnancy just one month before Blackstock's passing.
