Taylor Swift unveiled her 12th studio album, “The Life of a Showgirl,” at 12:12 a.m. Eastern on Tuesday in a teaser for the Kelce brothers’ “New Heights” podcast. The clip showed the singer holding a blurred version of the record while seated beside Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce and his brother, former Philadelphia Eagle Jason Kelce. Swift’s website opened pre-orders immediately after the reveal. A standard vinyl edition is priced at $30, a cassette at $20 and a $13 CD that includes a poster. All formats are slated to ship before Oct. 13, although the official release date has not been announced. A limited “Portofino orange glitter” pressing was also listed. The project is Swift’s first full-length release since 2024’s “The Tortured Poets Department” and her first new work since she reacquired the master recordings of her early catalog in May. The 35-year-old holds 14 Grammy Awards, a record four of them for album of the year. The announcement extends momentum from Swift’s Eras Tour, the first concert trek to top $1 billion in ticket sales. Her full conversation with the Kelce brothers is scheduled to stream at 7 p.m. ET on Wednesday, deepening the high-profile crossover between the pop icon and the NFL.
