The fire is threatening the community of Trout Canyon, located approximately 15 to 20 miles east of Pahrump, Nevada. In response, authorities have evacuated residents from Trout Canyon and restricted public access to the area. Air resources are being utilized to conduct water drops to contain the blaze. Additionally, Trout Canyon Road and Lovell Summit Road remain closed as crews continue their firefighting efforts.
