The basketball simulation, developed by Visual Concepts, will again be issued in multiple versions, with pre-orders now open. Oklahoma City Thunder guard and reigning NBA MVP Shai Gilgeous-Alexander fronts the standard edition, which will cost US$69.99 (about €80). Buyers of the Deluxe/Superstar edition, priced at roughly €100, will gain early access starting 29 Aug. Ten-time NBA All-Star and soon-to-be Hall of Famer Carmelo Anthony appears on the Superstar edition, while Chicago Sky forward and two-time WNBA All-Star Angel Reese headlines the WNBA edition and showcases her debut Reebok signature shoe, the Angel Reese 1. An Ultra edition mixes Anthony, Reese and Gilgeous-Alexander on a shared cover.
