2K said the upcoming NBA 2K26 will fully integrate WNBA players and teams into its popular MyTeam mode, marking the first time gamers can field mixed-gender line-ups in the franchise. Attributes, badges and gameplay mechanics will work the same for all players, according to the company, which aims to give users a balanced experience whether they pair Angel Reese with Shaquille O’Neal or any other combination of NBA and WNBA talent. The update also brings unlockable WNBA jerseys and court floors, an NBA-regulation three-point line for WNBA courts inside the mode, and newly recorded commentary from Kevin Harlan, Greg Anthony and Stan Van Gundy. NBA 2K26 is scheduled for release on 5 September 2025 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch and PC.
