Michael McDowell captured the opening stage of Sunday’s NASCAR Cup Series street race in downtown Chicago, securing his first stage victory of the 2025 season and the fourth of his career. McDowell crossed the line ahead of Kyle Busch and Tyler Reddick, with Chase Briscoe and Ryan Preece rounding out the top five. Ross Chastain, John Hunter Nemechek, Zane Smith, Austin Hill and Noah Gragson completed the top-10 order.
