Kremlin Opens Door to Possible Putin-Trump Meeting in Beijing

The Kremlin said it would not rule out a meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and former U.S. President Donald Trump if both leaders are in Beijing at the same time. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov confirmed that Putin plans to travel to the Chinese capital in September, adding that the Kremlin has no information indicating Trump will attend the same events. Should Trump be in Beijing concurrently, a bilateral discussion could be arranged, Peskov noted.
