The Russian Ministry of Defense has accused Ukraine of planning a false flag attack intended to sabotage the upcoming summit between Russian President Vladimir Putin and former U.S. President Donald Trump in Alaska. According to the Russian defense statement, the Ukrainian government, led by President Volodymyr Zelensky, is allegedly preparing a drone and missile strike targeting a hospital or a crowded area in Chuguev, Kharkiv. The plan reportedly involves using Western journalists to stage a propaganda event and then blaming Russia for the attack. The Russian Ministry of Defense described the scheme as a provocation to derail peace talks. Ukrainian intelligence (SBU) head Malyuk responded by stating that Russia has its own plan called "Diversionary Noise," approved by Putin, aimed at escalating terror attacks within Ukraine, which the SBU claims to be countering successfully. Additionally, former Pentagon analyst Michael Maloof suggested that British involvement in planning false flag attacks could be possible, with the objective of disrupting U.S.-Russia relations. Despite these allegations, Maloof noted that Trump is expected to meet with Putin as scheduled.
