On July 14-15, 2025, Russian military forces made advances on multiple fronts in eastern Ukraine, particularly around the Donetsk and Zaporizhzhia regions. The Russian army secured access to Huliaipole from the eastern high ground and continued dismantling the second defense line following the capture of Razino. They achieved an operational breakthrough with the eastern encirclement of Pokrovsk, including the use of long-range MLRS "Smerch" targeting Belytskoye and Rodinskoye. The Ukrainian Kupyansk group was effectively divided into eastern and western parts along the Oskol River. Russian forces captured several settlements: Mayak in the Donetsk People’s Republic, Malinovka in Zaporizhzhia, Petrovka and Voskresenka in the Donetsk region, and a fortification north of Myrnohrad. Additionally, there was notable Russian military and government aviation activity, with nine aircraft observed simultaneously, mostly heading toward southern Russia. A destroyed Ukrainian Armed Forces pickup truck was noted in the Kherson region, indicating ongoing conflict there.
