Russia's Defense Ministry announced that its forces have captured the villages of Mykolaivka and Myrne, also referred to by its Soviet name Karl Marx, in Ukraine's eastern Donetsk region. Additional reports indicate that Russian troops have also taken control of the village of Yelyzavetivka east of Myrnohrad and occupied Razyne in Donetsk. Furthermore, Russian forces have advanced near Vidrodzhennia, Toretsk, and Dyliivka in Donetsk, as well as Krasne Pershe in the Kharkiv region. Despite these advances, eight villages remain under Ukrainian control in the western part of Donetsk oblast.
