Apple on 22 July launched the Apple Store online and the Apple Store app in Saudi Arabia, giving consumers in the kingdom direct access to the company’s full hardware lineup and services for the first time. The digital storefront brings Arabic-language support across the site, the app and customer-care channels, a feature Apple had not previously offered in the Gulf region. Shoppers can customise Mac configurations, obtain free Arabic or English engraving on select devices, and arrange trade-ins, AppleCare+ coverage and same-day delivery in major cities. Payment options include instalment plans through local provider Tamara’s buy-now-pay-later service, and education discounts are available for students and teachers. The online debut marks the first stage of a broader Saudi expansion. Apple said it intends to open several flagship brick-and-mortar stores beginning in 2026, including a showcase location in Diriyah, a UNESCO World Heritage site near Riyadh. Chief Executive Officer Tim Cook said the move will bring the company "to even more customers around the world," underscoring Apple’s strategy of widening its direct-to-consumer reach in fast-growing markets.
