FC Barcelona Femení and Swedish international Fridolina Rolfö have agreed to terminate the player’s contract, the club said on 7 July. The move ends the 31-year-old’s four-season spell in Catalonia after joining from VfL Wolfsburg in 2021. During her time in Barcelona, Rolfö helped the team capture four Liga F crowns, three Copas de la Reina, two UEFA Women’s Champions League titles and two Spanish Supercopas. Club statistics show she made 129 appearances, scoring 38 goals and providing 37 assists, including the winner in the 2023 Champions League final comeback. Rolfö, who had been under contract until 2026, said on social media that “all good things come to an end” and thanked the club, teammates and supporters. Barcelona praised her professionalism and wished her success in the next stage of her career. The player’s future destination has not been announced.
